1. materials are abaca fibers, plastics, metal wires (G.I.), fabrics
2. should be fast-drying and ‘invisible’
3. very cost-effective (for rural livelihood projects)
4. readily available in local stores and hardwares
we have tried melted glue sticks yet the results werent as good as the adhesion quality of acrylic liquid bonds, kaya lang mashadong mahal. Any suggestions please..thanks.
If acrylic based adhesive works, there are ways of bringing down the cost. Buy it in bulk from the manufacturer and you reduce cost by as much as 50% vs. retail if you haggle and bring your own container.
Another option is to make you glue from an acrylate resin and a solvent (TCE) presto you have an adhesive. For safety, only experienced person with chemistry knowledge should try making adhesives.

The strongest adhesive I have tried is Pioneer Concrete Epoxy but it has colors like gray or pink but you can paint over it to match the dominant color of the item. Downside is high costs.

Tough criteria. The answer depends.
For sheer strength, a product with the brand name ‘gorilla glue’ is known for incredibly strong bonds, in terms of tensile and shear strength, as compared to that krazy glue stuff. It is strongest when used for bonding soft materials such as fabrics or fibers together as it penetrates into gaps in the material. It does not dry invisibly.
Not sure if it is available in the Phils. It should not be expensive.
For bonding metals, glue is not recommended. Metal should either be welded or bolted together.

The fastest drying I can think of other than Mighty Bond and the like is called Acrylic Resin or Polymer Resin. Acrylic Resin is hardened using a catalyst called MEKP. You should have a knowledge on Fiberglass to understand how to use it.
In a ball park, Acrylic Resin once in contact with MEKP creates a chemical reaction which produces heat (Exothermic) and the result of which hardens the Resin. Too much MEKP then you would not be able get it off you mixing plate/bowl. Too little the Resin will not solidify. Once cured it is virtually indestructible under normal condition. Resin-MEKP reaction can cause CHEMICAL BURN on the skin so be very careful. And the smell can be irritating. Resin can be tinted and the opacity of the material can likewise be changed.
You can also use Marine Epoxy (but it doesn’t dry in clear color) which is basically polymer base as well in paste like consistency and more workable/ pliable. Polymer Resin is liquid with a consistency of shampoo. Epoxy dries longer than Polymer Resin.
